The Star Finder 2102-D is an invaluable tool for celestial navigation, allowing users to locate and identify, by altitude and azimuth, the 57 stars listed in air and nautical almanacs. It is equally useful for amateur star gazers interested in general star identification.

Special diagrams enable quick checking of hour angle and provide a means of determining the altitude and azimuth of unplotted celestial bodies – or identifying them from known positions. The kit includes a white plastic star base and 10 clear plastic templates, all neatly stored in a durable black vinyl pouch with Velcro closure. Basic instructions are printed on the reverse of the protective plastic sleeve.
