Global Naval Developments 2026
Seaforth World Naval Review 2026 provides an authoritative and comprehensive overview of developments in the world’s navies over the past year. This highly regarded annual combines regional surveys with detailed studies of new warships and major technological advances, offering balanced insight into global naval affairs.
The 2026 edition focuses on two key fleets: the Russian Navy and the Royal Navy. It also includes in-depth features on the Indian aircraft carrier Vikrant, Japan’s Mogami-class frigates, and the Turkish Ada and Istanbul-class ships and their derivatives. Broader analyses explore advances in naval aviation—including the growing role of F-35B operators—and shipboard anti-submarine warfare, as well as an extensive study of the U.S. Navy’s RIM-116 Rolling Airframe Missile.
Combining expert commentary with over 200 photographs, this annual remains the only publication of its kind in the world—an essential reference for professionals, scholars, and enthusiasts alike.
