About the Author

Marsali Taylor, hailing from Scotland, is an experienced sailor and qualified tourist guide for Shetland. She has published plays in Shetland's distinctive dialect and a history of women's suffrage in Shetland. Her passion for sailing and history is evident in her writing, particularly in the Shetland Sailing Mysteries series.
