Lock-to-Lock Passage Planning on the Nene

Navigation notes and detailed maps, with tables of mileages, lock timings, moorings and facilities, plus canoe portages and walking routes.

A guide to the River Nene for boaters, canoeists, cyclists and walkers, thoroughly revised by Roger Green with support from the Inland Waterways Association, the Friends of the River Nene and others.

The new design pairs navigation notes with detailed maps of the canal and river showing the main features of the navigation. Tables give mileages and likely timings between locks for passage planning, and list moorings, facilities and services. Canoe launch points and portages are marked, and there are notes on walking and cycling routes and local history, with photographs of points of interest.
