About the Authors
Derek Pratt is a professional photographer and specialist writer on inland waterways. Over 45 years he has built a large library of stunning canal photography and authored several books and articles on the subject.
Richard Mayon-White is a retired epidemiologist who has lived in the Thames Valley for 60 years. A lifelong riverside walker, he volunteers on the Thames Path and leads riverside walks. He is co-author of Exploring the Thames Wilderness and Discovering London’s Canals.
