Arica to Cape Horn

Sailing directions for almost all the important harbours and anchorages, many documented for the first time, with colour plans and photographs.

This guide covers the coast of Chile from Arica in the north to Cape Horn in the south, with Isla de Pascua and Islas Juan Fernandez to the west. Yachts can still find little-known waters and unreported anchorages here.

This fourth edition is compiled from information gathered by many visiting yachtsmen. It has updated sailing directions for almost all the important harbours and anchorages, many documented here for the first time, with revised colour sketch plans throughout and colour photographs that relate to the plans.

About the Royal Cruising Club Pilotage Foundation

Imray has worked with the Royal Cruising Club Pilotage Foundation since 1985. The Foundation is a charity that collects and researches pilotage, navigation and weather information for small craft, including from remote areas where other sources are scarce or non-existent. Imray draws the cartography, often from very little official survey data, and produces the book.

About Imray

Imray has published nautical information for recreational and professional mariners since the mid-18th century. It is now part of FB Imray, a joint venture with the Austrian cartographers freytag & berndt, and is recognised by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency as a chart producer.
