The Clyde Cruising Club's sailing directions for Orkney, Shetland and Fair Isle, with the harbours on the Scottish mainland coast used as jumping-off points between Inverness and Cape Wrath. This third edition has been updated throughout by experienced local sailors.

It covers tidal sounds, passages, harbours and anchorages, with notes on places of interest and history ashore, from Neolithic stone circles and Viking settlements to Scapa Flow. It uses Imray cartography and colour photographs, including aerial and drone images, in the style of the other Clyde Cruising Club Sailing Directions published by Imray.

About the Clyde Cruising Club

The Clyde Cruising Club has published Sailing Directions for Scottish waters since 1909, first as the Blue Book and since 1974 as a series of regional volumes. Since 2011 these have been merged with Martin Lawrence's Yachtsman's Pilot series from Imray, with the Club keeping editorial control.
