The Clyde to Cape Wrath

Background, points of interest and photographs for the Scottish west coast and islands, as a companion to the CCC Sailing Directions.

Cruising Scotland is a companion to the Clyde Cruising Club's Sailing Directions. It covers the west coast of Scotland from the Clyde to Cape Wrath and all the outlying islands, adding background information, points of interest and many photographs.

About the authors

The book was first written by the late Mike Balmforth, the Club's Journal Editor, with Edward Mason, Editor of the Sailing Directions. Edward Mason has prepared this third edition with Imray.

Praise for Cruising Scotland

"If the CCC Sailing Directions are the main course of Scottish cruising under sail, this Companion is both the tantalising G&T and the reflective single malt digestif... A book for both the boat and the armchair."

– Little Ship Club magazine
