Weems & Plath Brass Endurance 125 Time & Tide Clock

Time and tide on one dial, from Weems & Plath's Endurance 125 range: a 4⅞-inch (124 mm) dial in a solid brass case 6 inches (152 mm) across and 1⅝ inches (41 mm) deep. A combined quartz movement drives both, on one AA battery, which is included.

The tide hand follows the average Atlantic lunar tide cycle, so it keeps pace with a regular twice-daily tide. Where the tide is irregular, it needs resetting often.

The brass has a maintenance-free, ultra-hard finish that Weems & Plath guarantees never to tarnish, and an O-ring behind the glass makes it weatherproof. It hangs on Weems & Plath's patented Slide-n-Lock mount, with no screws showing. It matches the other instruments in the Endurance 125 range: the barometer, the clock, the time and tide clock and the comfortmeter. Lifetime warranty on the finish and the movement.

Setting the tide hand

Set the tide hand to high water at the time of the next high water at your port, from the tide tables, and check it against the tables from time to time.
