East Coast to the Continent

Restructured passage routes across the North Sea that take account of Traffic Separation Schemes, offshore wind farms and oil and gas platforms.

A passage pilot for the North Sea between England and the coasts of France, Belgium and the Netherlands, by Garth Cooper, co-author of Imray's East Coast Pilot. This edition has been restructured to reflect how North Sea passages have changed.

The routes take account of the Traffic Separation Schemes and the many new offshore wind farms and oil and gas platforms. The emphasis is on the passages themselves, whether a direct crossing between the UK and the Continent or a series of hops along the East Coast and the adjacent continental coasts. Pilotage is included for a selection of key ports, with updated plans and many new photographs.
