3,000km of the Midi, South-West and West

146 full-colour pages of junction maps, waterway overview maps, route descriptions and restoration news for southern and western France.

The third volume of the ninth edition of Inland Waterways of France, covering the South (the Midi), the South-west and Western France: 3,000 kilometres of waterways maintained and developed almost entirely for recreational navigation.

David Edwards-May has researched the changes of the last 10 years. In 146 full-colour pages the volume sets out the current state of the network, with detailed maps of junctions and other key sites, an overview map for each waterway, route descriptions, historical notes and colour photographs. It also covers waterway restoration projects, in which the author has been involved for many years.
