Paddle to a Pint – Pub Adventures by Water
Paddle and Pub is a joyful celebration of two great British traditions – exploring the outdoors and enjoying a pint at a proper pub. This unique travel guide highlights the finest riverside, canalside and coastal pubs you can reach by kayak, canoe or paddleboard.
From the mountain-framed shores of Wester Ross to the sinuous meanders of the South Downs and the vibrant waterways of East London, the routes span the length and breadth of the UK. Each one is paired with top-notch pubs serving great beer and food, with detailed advice on access points, hire options, route length and local highlights.
Whether you're after a gentle afternoon paddle or a longer adventure with wild camping, this book offers inspiration for all experience levels – and always with a cold drink at the finish line. Illustrated with beautiful photography and helpful maps.
