Channel Islands and Cherbourg to Ouessant

Peter Carnegie's transits, photographs and plans for the Channel Islands and the Normandy and Brittany coasts, revised by Annabel Finding.

A pilot guide to the Channel Islands and the neighbouring French coast, from the northeast of the Cherbourg Peninsula westward along the Normandy and Brittany coasts to Ouessant. It includes the Plateau des Roches Douvres and detailed sections on the navigable rivers.

Peter Carnegie explored these waters over many years. His photographs and plans show the transits used for safe navigation in an area of large tidal range and fast-moving streams.

What's in this edition

Annabel Finding's revision updates the port information and plans and adds new photographs.

Praise for the book

"Carnegie’s book provides reassurance and so much practical advice that anyone using it will feel confident of success."
