Updated 2022 Edition
The area covered by this cruising guide includes the northern section of the West Coast of Scotland from Ardnamurchan Point to Cape Wrath, including the whole of Skye and the Small Isles.
The intricate and stunning coastline of lochs and islands offers a rich and varied cruising ground with a multitude of anchorages, many beneath a dramatic backdrop of munros.
This third edition, updated by Edward Mason, includes revised text and a selection of new photographs. Details on plans have been updated and include information from Bob Bradfield’s Antares large scale charts.
This well-respected title is an essential companion for anyone cruising these waters
Praise for Ardnamurchan to Cape Wrath
"A typical high quality Imray product: clear print on good paper with profuse illustration by chartlet and photography; edited with all the authority of those who have ‘been there’. There is much fine aerial imagery and a robust spiral binding allows open-flat handling, convenient for chart table and cockpit use. An impressive successor to the well-respected originals"
— Edward Cartner, Cruising Magazine
"Like its predecessor, it is comprehensive, with an abundance of information, clear navigational directions, easily read plans and some beautiful photographs."
— Royal Cruising Club
About Clyde Cruising Club
The Clyde Cruising Club is one of Scotland's leading sailing organisations. Since 1909, it has published Sailing Directions for Scottish waters – first as the well-known Blue Book, and since 1974 in a series of regional volumes. Since 2011, these have been gradually merged with Martin Lawrence's Yachtsman's Pilot series (Imray), with editorial control remaining with the Club.
About Imray
Imray has been publishing nautical information for recreational and professional mariners since the mid-18th century. Originally a family business, the company retains continuity through generations of maritime knowledge. Today, Imray is part of FB Imray, a joint venture with freytag & berndt (Austrian cartographic specialists). This has allowed them to combine traditional expertise with modern production methods.
Imray is recognised by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency as a chart producer. Their portfolio extends beyond paper charts to include pilot books, cruising guides, almanacs, and navigation handbooks.
