About Imray Y Series Laminated Charts
Imray Y Series Laminated charts provide large-scale coverage of UK harbours, estuaries and popular coastal areas in a handy A2 size (420 × 590 mm). Designed for use on smaller chart tables or in the cockpit, they're ideal for navigating river approaches, identifying anchorages and piloting through confined waters. The laminated finish offers extra protection against spray, rain and repeated handling, making them particularly suited to open cockpits and exposed helms. They draw on official UKHO hydrographic data, combined with additional information from Imray's network of contributors to create coverage suited to small craft.
All charts use WGS 84 datum and metric depths, making them compatible with GPS navigation systems. Imray publishes other chart ranges for different waters: C Series for Britain, Ireland and Northwest Europe, M Series for the Mediterranean, G for Greek and Turkish waters, and A, B, D and E (Imray-Iolaire) for the Atlantic and Caribbean.
