This edition has been completely revised and updated by author Steve Pickard, with comprehensive information on marinas, ports, anchorages and sailing passages. It includes new photographs and updated Imray chartlets throughout. About the Author

Steve Pickard had extensive experience of cruising the waters for which he wrote, having first visited both South Biscay and Mediterranean Spain on a yacht delivery in 1976. He joined the Royal Cruising Club Pilotage Foundation in 2009, and more recently circumnavigated Spain to survey from Galicia to the Gironde – a trip that spanned Gibraltar to Cowes. He passed away in early 2024 following a short illness.

About Royal Cruising Club Pilotage Foundation

Once the Pilotage Foundation has researched and edited the material about a particular cruising area, Imray shapes it into a book, creating the cartography (often where there is very little official survey data as a source) and combining this with the manuscript and photos to create a new cruising guide.
