Not what you were looking for? No problem. We can accept returns of items in as-sold condition for up to 30 days (maybe a bit longer but don't tell anyone).

Just let us know and we'll sort everything out, including the shipping cost back to us.

Unfortunately this doesn't apply to Print on Demand charts as they are correct at the time of printing. Please make sure your chosen chart meets your needs.

About ADMIRALTY Gnomonic Charts

ADMIRALTY Gnomonic Charts form part of a specialised series of five charts designed specifically for passage planning and great circle navigation. These charts enable mariners to plot great circle routes as straight lines, making them invaluable tools for long-distance voyage planning and are particularly useful for devising composite rhumb line routes.

More Than Just Navigation

Displaying Your Chart

Chart sizes are generally 107cm x 71.5cm, but can vary. We recommend waiting until you have received your chart before organising any framing.

Important Notes

Your chart will be shipped rolled in a sturdy cardboard tube. In line with UKHO standards, it may be folded up to three times along pre-determined fold lines.

Unfolded Charts: If you prefer to receive your chart unfolded, please let us know. While we take care to avoid creases, it can sometimes be difficult to prevent minor creasing at the edges when inserting the chart into the tube. These creases will easily flatten under some heavy books.

Presentation: We always use the latest file available from the UKHO. This may differ slightly from the thumbnail provided here. For example, more recent ADMIRALTY editions use a paler yellow colour for land. Each chart is also officially validated with an agent's stamp and contains a line of print information in the margin as part of the print-on-demand service. If any of these points causes concern, please contact us as we can send you pictures and check the latest thumbnail.
