About the Author
Simon Bassett is a pioneer in the UK stand up paddleboarding scene, having started in 2006 when the sport was virtually unknown in the country. In 2007, he founded the British Stand Up Paddle Association (BSUPA) and has been instrumental in developing teaching schemes and national SUP contests.
